From Fall 1988, this jacket channels Lagerfeld’s military-inspired vision for Chanel. Cut in thick emerald green wool, it was designed as true outerwear rather than a delicate evening piece — structured, warm, and commanding.
The silhouette is fitted and flattering, balancing a strong, almost regimental design with a distinctly feminine line. It features a double-breasted front, two flap pockets, and an impressive 26 gold-plated interlocking CC logo buttons across the front, cuffs, pockets, and back. A belted back detail defines the waist, while a full silk lining completes the construction.
Size: Size label removed, comfortable fits sizes FR34 and FR36.
Condition: The jacket is in very good condition with a soft, slightly fuzzy texture characteristic of its wool. Very light overall wear, light patina on the buttons. The silk lining is also in very good condition, with light overall wear.
Fabric Composition: Fabric label removed, feels like wool.
