FR38-40 Chanel Spring 1991 Four Pocket Wool Boucle Collarless Jacket in Red
FR38-40 Chanel Spring 1991 Four Pocket Wool Boucle Collarless Jacket in Red
For the Spring 1991 collection, inspired by surfing culture, Karl Lagerfeld offered variations of Chanel's most iconic elements. Camelias were oversized and used for headwear. Tiered pearls so often seen on Mademoiselle herself, were presented in colorful combinations of pink, yellow and red tones. Classic tweed suits were styled with swimwear and bicycle shorts.
This wool boucle jacket, in particular, was styled with an oversized red-tone faux-pearl necklace, and an oversized pink camelia headband.
We love this timeless jacket for the bright red color and the four pockets, each decorated with a gold-tone button making it instantly recognizable as Chanel.
