FR40-44 Chanel 1980s Two Pocketed Double Breasted Cropped Jacket

This beautiful double-breasted jacket from the 1980s is cut in a white, red, and dark navy plaid tweed. Lined in silk and finish with the trademark chain at the hem, this piece gives us 1980s supermodel vibes. We can easily imagine Naomi Campbell or Cindy Crawford walking down the runway wearing this jacket.
Note the special buttons - one of the key features of a Chanel jacket. This time they feature the Chanel logo alongside Mademoiselle Chanel's profile. Karl Lagerfeld loved reinventing Coco Chanel's designs and using her features and symbols throughout the brand's collection. From the lion head (symbolizing Coco Chanel's zodiac sign - Leo) to the numbers 5 and 31, to the great couturier's profile in this case.

Size: size label removed, suitable for sizes FR40 (slightly oversized fit), FR42, and FR44.

Color: red, white and dark navy.

Condition: jacket exterior and lining in very good condition; jacket lining has a pin hole on the bottom right that looks to be from a security tag. Light wear to buttons. Overall very good condition.
