Designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Fall 1987 collection, this beautiful jacket is cut in a dark brown plaid tweed. This definitive piece features the original collarless design with four front pockets, each decorated with a button. An instantly recognizable classic, this jacket has the trademark chain at the hem that weight the piece down for a perfect fit, the silk lining, and handsome gold-tone buttons that feature Coco Chanel's profile with a "Coco Chanel Paris France" written above it.

Size: size label says FR42, suitable for sizes FR40 (slightly oversized fit), FR42, and FR44.

Color: rich dark tone of brown.

Condition: the piece has been rarely worn by the previous owner and is in excellent condition with very light overall wear. Light wear to buttons. 

Fabric composition: label removed, feels like 100% wool.

Measurements taken flat: back length 23 in / 58 cm; shoulder width 18 1/2 in / 47 cm; sleeve length 20 in/ 51 cm; waist 20 in / 51 cm; bust 20 in / 51 cm; arm opening 8 in / 20 cm

Model's measurements: our model Hailey is 180 cm / 5'11" ft tall. Her measurements are: bust 30 in / 76 cm, waist 27 in / 68 1/2 cm, hips are 35 in / 89 cm.
